Lindsey, daughter who lives for the adventure – with an overwhelming love for travel and her mom! Lindsey’s hope for this blog is to share all the traveling tips one needs to see the wonders of this world in the most astonishing ways. This earth is a big one, and with every step on new ground, Lindsey makes her dream to impact others match the joy the earth has offered her.
Valerie, mama and photographer- was inspired to offer a travel resource for families in search of fun ways to connect with their family through unique adventure travel. Most of the photographs featured in the blog are Valerie’s personal work. Blessed with daughters who enjoy new exploration; from whale watching to snorkeling to hiking – she hopes these posts will inspire you to plan that perfect memory making trip, armed with all the practical information and itineraries for a stress free visit!
Where We’ve Been
Travel Destinations
Spain offers wonders around every corner. Barcelona and Gaudi’s architecture is a must see destination. Discover the backroads of Granada with sweeping views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Blanes and Costa Brava are only a day trip from Barcelona and offer a taste of the Mediterranean with cyan blue waters.
The Azores
The Azores archipelago consists of nine islands. Each island has its own unique flavor. Our trip in 2023 consisted of Pico Island and the main island of Sao Miguel. Ponta Delgada offers all the charms of a European city with beautiful churches and city squares but just around the corner are also Hot Springs, waterfalls and beautiful ocean views.
Mainland Portugal really has something for everyone. The city holds history and architecture that takes you back in time. Portuguese tiles create a colorful backdrop to castles and gardens. Just a short day trip offers more castles and some of the best coastal towns with secret beaches and coastal views.
Iceland
Our first trip to Iceland in 2021 really ignited our passion to travel and build adventure itineraries. Returning in 2024 for Valerie and Jesse’s wedding with 12 of our family and friends only solidified our commitment that Iceland is the most beautiful destination on earth.
U.S NPs
There are countless gorgeous locations right here in the U.S. Some of our favorites have been within the U.S. National Parks system. Hiking the Narrows in Zion remains one of favorite adventure excursions.

Every day I feel extremely lucky to have such a strong bond to my daughters. Like travel, this blogging journey was hatched from a desire to collaborate talents with my daughters. Let’s face it, offering up traveling opportunities to your children is a faint example of bribery. Expanding the perspective of our children is fun and I do not apologize for bribing my children to travel with me. In order to make travel adventures POSITIVELY affect our relationships takes a bit of planning and anticipating the needs of the group. We hope that this multi-perspective model speaks to both parent and child and helps to create an adventure worth duplicating many times over.

We really just decided this would be a great way to share what we love: travel, photography and planning. Creating a well planned out itinerary is no easy task and we created this blog for families seeking additional guidance.

Our Experience with Budget Travel
As a single mom, budget travel was, and still is, the only way to go. Travel is a financial commitment- but I have never heard of someone that has regretted prioritizing spending time with their family making memories over a new dishwasher. We hope to show you tips and tricks to find the best deals and make the most of your adventures. With research and planning you can avoid spending $ on low grade accommodations or costly tours. Value is at the heart of our travel decisions and valuing our time together always lands at the top of our travel priorities.

This is a brand new project and we are working hard at offering posts that will help you create the perfect itinerary and find the best hidden gems. Our travel plans for 2025 are still evolving but sustainable travel and discovering the natural wonders of our world remain key commitments in all of our endeavors!
